Each week on Friday Trojan Nation will give statistics and facts on the opponent the
Trojans will face. Week four sees the Trojans host Richland.
SCHOOL: Richland is a Class AA school located in suburban
Johnstown. Their home field is very close to the UPJ campus, making it an easy 10-minute drive from the city. Their male enrollment

LAST SEASON: The Rams were 4-6 last year

LHAC SECTION AND FUTURE OPPONENTS: Richland plays
in Section 2 with Johnstown, Bedford, Bishop McCort, Somerset and Westmont. Their non-section games are against Cambria Heights,
Forest Hills, Bishop Guilfoyle, Penn Cambria and Chestnut Ridge.
LAST WEEK’S RESULT: Last week, the Trojans fell
37-14 to Penn Cambria while Richland defeated Forest Hills 56-27.
HISTORY AGAINST JOHNSTOWN: Since JHS has joined the
LHAC in 2001, the Trojans are 14-3 against the Rams. They have outscored Richland 478-287. The average score of
the contests has been 28.12-16.88. The average margin of victory in JHS’ 14 wins is 19.64 points. The average
margin of defeat in the three Trojan losses is 28 points.
LAST MEETING: Last year, the Trojans defeated the Rams
46-30.
